mrcantile | Our Collective

mrcantile isn't a traditional agency, we're a collective of marketing specialists who've spent our careers in the trenches of small business marketing, supporting neighborhood coffee shops, online boutiques, tech startups, and everything in between. Our story started when a group of marketers who'd spent years building small business marketing programs for tech giants realized something: small businesses themselves needed this expertise far more than the corporations trying to reach them. After countless conversations with entrepreneurs, makers, and independent professionals, it became clear that small businesses deserved partners who truly understood their world. So we built mrcantile: a place where strategic thinking meets roll-up-your-sleeves execution, where "work hard, play hard" isn't just a phrase but a way of working together.

What makes us different

We've worked with thousands of small businesses. Through our corporate work, we've conducted hundreds of research interviews, run countless workshops, and partnered with small businesses across every industry you can imagine to host meaningful community programs. That experience taught us the real pain points business owners experience, particularly the ones that keep you up at night.

We keep it real. No fluff. No corporate-speak. No strategies that only work if you have a team of 20. Just honest, practical marketing advice and hands-on support from people who genuinely care whether your business succeeds.

We bring the right people to the table. Need a photographer for your rebrand? A copywriter who gets your industry? An event planner who can execute in three cities? Our collective expands to match your needs, so you're never paying for expertise you don't use.
